CAMPBELL---The Campbell Memorial High School Alumni Association will
hold its first Alumni Basketball Game Homecoming Reunion and Party Friday,
Jan. 18, at the Campbell-Struthers game.
The party will begin at 9 p.m. in the Campbell Memorial High School cafeteria
following the game. Pizza, donuts, coffee and soft drinks will be served free
of charge courtsey of the Alumni Association and its sponsors.
All alumni are invited to attend the basketball bash to see the Red
Devils meet the Wildcats, and then reunite with old friends and
classmates afterwards for a party in the cafeteria.
Alumni also are reminded that the deadline to become a founding
trustee of the Association is Jan. 10, 2008, one year from the
date it was founded. A contribution of $1,000 is required to become
a founding trustee, and may be made in the form of a scholarship.
The $1,000 pledge will insure that the donor will be memorialized
permanently as a founder of the Association.
So far, the Association has 32 founding trustees.
Alumni also are encouraged to set up scholarships in the names
of family members and loved ones as lasting legacies to go to
deserving Memorial High graduates.
