The Campbell Memorial Alumni Association awarded its first scholarships to members of the class of 2007 at commencement exercises held on Thursday, June 8, 2007. The first honorees are:

Anthony Valva
Michael Elias Maillis / Nicholas Ellinos Memorial Scholarship, $1,000, sponsored by Atty. Michael Maillis (1986)

Kalli Zembillas
Dr. Robert Ricchiuti Scholarship, $1,000, sponsored by Dr. Robert Ricchiuti (1959) and the Nicholas J. Pantelakis Memorial Scholarship, $500, sponsored by Dr. James (1988) and Mrs. Marianthi Kokkinos (2000) Pantelakis

Ava DiRienzo
Dr. William and Mrs. Delores (Schrieber) Suarez Scholarship, $1,000 sponsored by Dr. William and Mrs Delores Schrieber Suarez (Both 1984) and the Nicholas J. Pantelakis Memorial Scholarship, $500, sponsored by Dr. James (1988) and Mrs. Marianthi Kokkinos (2000) Pantelakis

Stephen and Sophie Winsen Duritza Memorial Scholarship, $250, sponsored by the John Kovach (1958).

The Association congratulates these outstanding scholars and all of the members of the class of 2007. We are proud to add you to the ranks of Campbell graduates and know that you will continue our long tradition of achieving excellence.

Our organization also extends our heartfelt thanks to each of our alumni who have so graciously contributed to our scholarship fund. It is our hope that we can assist in making the dreams of future Campbell graduates come true. We encourage all of you to get involved in our association in any way that you can.

Please visit the alumni booth at the City Fest during the last weekend of June and sign up for the airline giveaway, sponsored by The Wasko Funeral Home and Carlson-Wagonlit Travel Agency. Simply give us your contact information and you qualify for the drawing. The winning entry will be drawn at our fall gathering after the homecoming game on Sept. 28,2007. We are diligently attempting to reach all Campbell graduates; therefore, this information is vital. Join us in celebrating our RED DEVIL PRIDE!!!!
